This product should be added to your basket if you
already have an empty colour cartridge that you wish to
refill by using our ‘refill by post’ service which is
described in more detail below. You are welcome to send
back as many colour cartridges as you like for
refilling; for example, if you have 3 cartridges then
just add three ‘refill by post’ services to your
basket.
What is our refill by post service?
Refresh Cartridges are pleased to introduce a new
service which will allow you to have your cartridges
refilled quickly and efficiently using our state of the
art refilling equipment. This service is ideal for
those who have an empty cartridge available to post
back to us.
What does it cost?
We operate a very simple pricing structure of £6.99
black and £8.99 colour across the entire range. If your
printer benefits from a photo cartridge we can also
refill these for £8.99. There are no additional costs
for postage as we provide a freepost return address for
the return of the empties and post the refilled
cartridges out by first class post free of charge.
What cartridges can be refilled?
We can refill practically any cartridge which has the
print head included in the cartridge; this includes
those made by Dell, HP, Lexmark and in some cases
Canon. There are a few cartridges which we’re not
currently able to refill however please rest assured,
if you see the ‘refill by post’ icon in your printer
category then we can refill your cartridge. At present
we don’t refill ink tanks which don’t include a print
head such as those used in Epson, Brother and some
Canon machines as these are more cost effective to
simply buy as compatibles.
How does it work?
When you purchase a refill service by adding either the
appropriate ‘refill by post’ product to your basket you
will then be asked to checkout and make payment. Once
payment has been made you will receive an e-mail with
an order number – please send us your cartridges, along
with the order umber to the address below:

For your piece of mind you may want to get a free of
charge proof of posting certificate from your post
office.
How long does this service take?
Once we have received your empty cartridge we will
refill and post it back the very same day. Due to
limitations regarding handwritten Royal Mail freepost
return addresses all cartridges sent back to us go by
second class post however once refilled your cartridges
will be returned by first class post. If you would
rather dispatch your empty cartridges back to us by a
special delivery, first class or courier service then
please send them to the address above, omitting the
freepost line.
What guarantees are provided?
Every care is taken to ensure that the refilled
cartridge works as well as a manufacturers original
cartridge so the problems you encounter should be
minimal. The cartridge has any traces of ink removed,
it is then ultrasonically cleaned, the printhead
steamed, usually the sponges are replaced and it’s then
refilled and tested.
It is worth bearing in mind that not all cartridges
will take a refill; occasionally the print head or
electronic circuit may be worn. If you return a faulty
empty to us then if possible we will attempt to locate
a spare empty for you from our recycling scheme. If we
are unable to locate a spare empty then we will give
you the option of either a refund or using the money
towards a remanufactured/original cartridge.
In the event the refilled cartridge that we return to
you is faulty then we will again give you the choice of
refilling another cartridge for you free of charge,
providing a refund or using the money TOWARDS a
remanufactured or original cartridge. Unfortunately we
cannot simply straight swap faulty refill by post
cartridges for either original or remanufactured unit
as owing to the fact that all cartridges do have a
finite life the costs involved absorbing the difference
would make this scheme unsustainable. |
